SV	Maar ik heb deze broeders gezonden, opdat onze roem, dien [wij] over u [hebben], niet zou ijdel gemaakt worden in dezen dele; opdat (gelijk ik gezegd heb) gij bereid moogt zijn;
Steph	επεμψα δε τους αδελφους ινα μη το καυχημα ημων το υπερ υμων κενωθη εν τω μερει τουτω ινα καθως ελεγον παρεσκευασμενοι ητε
Trans.	epempsa de tous adelphous ina mē to kauchēma ēmōn to yper ymōn kenōthē en tō merei toutō ina kathōs elegon pareskeuasmenoi ēte

Alex	επεμψα δε τους αδελφους ινα μη το καυχημα ημων το υπερ υμων κενωθη εν τω μερει τουτω ινα καθως ελεγον παρεσκευασμενοι ητε
ASV	But I have sent the brethren, that our glorying on your behalf may not be made void in this respect; that, even as I said, ye may be prepared:
BE	But I have sent the brothers, so that the good things we said about you may be seen to be true, and that, as I said, you may be ready:
Byz	επεμψα δε τους αδελφους ινα μη το καυχημα ημων το υπερ υμων κενωθη εν τω μερει τουτω ινα καθως ελεγον παρεσκευασμενοι ητε
Darby	But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made void in this respect, in order that, as I have said, ye may be prepared;
ELB05	Ich habe aber die Brüder gesandt, auf daß nicht unser Rühmen über euch in dieser Beziehung zunichte würde, auf daß ihr, wie ich gesagt habe, bereit seid,
LSG	J'envoie les frères, afin que l'éloge que nous avons fait de vous ne soit pas réduit à néant sur ce point-là, et que vous soyez prêts, comme je l'ai dit.

Sch	Ich habe aber die Brüder gesandt, damit unser Rühmen von euch in diesem Stücke nicht falsch befunden werde, damit ihr, wie ich gesagt hatte, bereit seiet;

Web	Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
Weym	Still I send the brethren in order that in this matter our boast about you may not turn out to have been an idle one; so that, as I have said, you may be ready;
